Mr. Foreman showed off his talented class yesterday at their weekly chapel time. He was able to get all those kids to perform a memorized play for the rest of the school and they all did great! The play was about a rich king. There was a prophecy that the richest person in the kingdom would die at midnight. The king of course was upset and so was his wife who kept fainting througout the entire play. Anyway the king ended up giving all of his money away to a poor man in hopes get get it all back the next day when the man died.
Well when the next day came the entire royal kingdom went to this man's house. He was dead, but all the money was gone. At that time a few southern backward boys showed up, heavey accent and all. They explained that the man had given a little bit of money to everyone because he said he was already rich with the great life he had with his friends, family and all the Lord had given him. Of course we all know the end. Treasures of earthly wealth are nothing compared to the wonderful treasure of know Jesus and being blessed by all he daily gives to us.
I think Mr. Foreman has become quite the teacher!
