Today is the second nicest day we’ve had all year. The first day came just this past Sunday when temperatures broke into the mid 50s and the sun shown almost all day! It was a wonderful gift sent only by God!
I’d like to try and catch everyone up to spend on what has been happening in our lives since Memorial Day weekend. Stephen finished his first year as a teacher on May 31st and turned in his keys at the Christian School. He had an overall great year and will miss the kids and his boss, but we’re both excited to see where the Lord will take him this fall.
I finished the ARK program on June 1st with a fun all day adventure with the kids. I’ve posted a picture from our wet hike. The weather was terrible, but we still managed to have a good day.
Stephen and I then moved into Ayer Cottage for the summer to be the house supervisors at the Mission on June 3rd after an afternoon hike with our youth group to Termination Point. It’s been quite the adjustment living with people again, but the summer staff is great!
