Christmas 2008

Well Christmas of 2008 has come and gone.  It was a whirlwind, but it was wonderful seeing all of our family.  Of course there is never enough time, but we made so many wonderful memories that have us already looking forward to next year.

We got to be at Liam's second birthday and Lance and Charlotte made it to Nebraska all the way from Kotzebue.  It was our first Christmas spending so much time on the computer as well, but it was wonderful being able to see Daniel, Alison, Lucas and Alexis.  I don't think we've ever sang Victory in Jesus so many times, it may just be one of our Christmas favorites.  Oh, and praise the Lord the Huskers won!  There's nothing like being in Nebraska to watch football.

We will never forget all of our plane travel this year.  On the way home we went from Omaha to Denver to Portland to Seattle to Juneau to Anchorage and finally Kodiak.  It was a long 32 hours, but praise the Lord we made it in safe and sound.

We miss everyone, but feel extremely blessed to have jobs we love, dogs that are so cute, a warm home, and amazing families who support us clear up here in Alaska.

Awesome you got to be in Neb. for Christmas; always great to be with family. We were traveling too, just not quite that far but we sure enjoyed seeing our kids & grandkids. Keep up the good work in Alaska & God bless you.
