We thought it might be fun to see how many eagles everyone can find. They were all over the place. This picture was after Gus had scared over half of them out of the trees. The sound their wings produce as they fly over is remarkable. They are amazing!

Eagles and Ice
Saturday was extremely beautiful and felt so much like spring! Stephen and I sat out on our deck and soaked in the sun trying to get all the vitamin D we possibly could. I'm a bit under the weather so instead of a big day long outing we opted for a trip to Pillar Creek. We spend a lot of time out there in the summer especially in late July when the Pink Salmon are coming in forcefully. It's extremely easy for the kids to catch fish and it is amazing watching all those fish. Anyway, it's much different in the winter and much easier to walk around. Gus loved chasing all the eagles and helped keep our little guy, Roscoe who looks like a really tasty bunny, safe. We did loose Gus for a while, but he's to much of a wimp to go to far. Anyway, it was a perfect little afternoon. The most precious memories in life come with the everyday moments.
