Since being back to Kodiak we've enjoyed some great family outings. Mission lake is directly in front of our home and it is by far our favorite place to ice skate. Interesting fact about Mission Lake is that Kodiak Baptist Mission owns the land underneath the water. Back in 1964 there was an earthquake and tidal wave that hit Kodiak, turning the Mission Lake portion of land into a lake. The lake is only about 3 to 4 feet deep, but it sure is beautiful.
On January 1st Greyson was 10 months old! He is all over the place most of the time, except when he's sleeping or in the backpack, which enjoys greatly. He also loves to open drawers, pull things out of cupboards and bang on pots and pans. Helping unload the dishwasher is one of his favorite chores and will climb right up to help. :)
