Landry's 1st Birthday!

Most people I talk to say they can hardly believe it has been a year since their children were born on their first birthday.  For Landry we've been very excited for this day for a while.  We love this little boy a tremendous amount, but Landry was a very difficult baby.  Both Stephen and I know that 1 year is just a little closer to less crying and more understanding.

At 11 months Landry decided that walking was a good idea and by 1 had mastered it.  He is extremely mobile and with the nice weather loves to walk and explore outside.  He eats everything, but mostly likes sticks and rocks.  Between 11 and 12 months he cut 7 new teeth, so that was exciting.

He wants to keep up with his brother's every move.  This often results in crying.  It was amazing.  Landry cries more when Greyson takes away the toy he is playing with than he did for his one year shots.
Landry weighed in at 18 months at his 1 year visit, but went down a bit because of course he got sick.  After a couple of days with a 101 to 102 temp we took him to the doctor, but we have a tough little guy and didn't need any medicine, just some TLC.

We haven't had a big birthday party for Landry, but of course we will with the Grandparents when we head down to Nebraska in June.
