It is amazing how quickly life can change! We got a call and a week later we had a bottle calf. Of course the bottle calf named Samson needed a friend, so along came brownie. As you can see Stephen brought Samson and Brownie home in the back of our jeep (it took a good washing, but it does not stink). Brownie and Samson are quite the pair and the boys love them. We have made a great not so little (thanks to Stephen) pasture space for them and a little shelter.
After working outside Landry loves to get a cookie. This kid is amazing. He can climb anything and never seems to get hurt.
Then along came the chickens. Yes chickens. I have had cows, sheep, goats, horses . . . but no chickens. Until now. Here in Kodiak eggs get expensive so why not. Well these little guys were a lot of work, but so precious and fun to watch.
Every morning I would walk from our house down to the barn. I love this view!
Fun on the swing.
Greyson being silly
The boys are getting great at doing chore
The weather has been unbelievable in Kodiak! It has gotten up into the 60s a few time and one day up into the 70s. We have done our best to enjoy every minute of it.
