A Perfect Day

I think that today had to have been the most beautiful day of the entire year!  It almost felt like spring and after a long week of rain the snow was well on its way of melting.  So Stephen and I loaded up the family and headed out on the road.  It was one of those days when we just knew we we're exactly where the Lord wanted us to be!  The road was still plenty icy and full of snow in parts but being with my three favorite guys in Kodiak made my tight grips on the door handle worth it.

We were even able to let both Gus and Roscoe off their leashes and run around one of the beaches.  I laughed so hard and we all had a great time.  Gus found some kelp and loved throwing it in the air and biting on it.

While I'm not sure we're ready for another work week, we sure are a lot closer.  Praise the Lord for days like today and a wonderful little family to share it with.

I'll bet there was never a dull moment when Stephen was growing up. Eh, Jean??

Just wanted to let you know I enjoy reading your blogs. Hope all is well in Alaska. It is not the same as having you here in Nebraska but you are doing great work. You know Kelli, you always used to say I want to grow up like Sarah, but the tables have turned and I only wish I could grow up to be 1/2 of you. You and Stephen are remarkable in your unselfish ways!
Love, Sarah
