Camping with 6th Graders!

Long gone are the days of a Nebraska May and here to stay are the days of Mayhem in May.  May is a crazy month in Kodiak.  All the 5th and 6th graders are going on their little class trips and people like Stephen and me get to go along too.  Just this last week Stephen went out past the end of the road camping with around 100 6th graders from one of his elementary schools.  The first day the weather conditions were pretty favorable, however by day 2 a huge storm had come in.  There were 18 foot seas and even on land you felt like you were in a hurricane.  So the class moved into the little school at at Chiniak.  There are only 3 students in attendance and 2 were on vacation.  Needless to say it was quite the experience.  This is what Stephen looked like the third morning!
