We have started quite the little farm here in Kodiak. Stephen has been such a huge trooper through all my crazy requests, but when the first egg was laid he was completely sold on the idea.
The boys have jumped right in too. Landry and Greyson can catch just about any chicken and Greyson is quite the goat whisper. We also enjoyed keeping our bottle calf throughout the summer.
After returning from Nebraska we still had a lot of summer left in Kodiak. We spent a lot of the time outside playing with the animals, picking salmon berries and riding horses.
I love our little goats and have enjoyed watching them grow up. They sure are cute little ladies.
At the end of the summer we had fun taking Salmon to the Kodiak fair before having him go back out to the ranch where he came from. We were sad to see him go, but he was getting pretty big and his horns were definitely growing.
We also started to get a nice little bunch of eggs each day as well.
