While the majority of our time in Puerto Rico was spent at the conference we did find some time to sneak away and enjoy some of God's incredible creation. After our difficult trip to Hawaii we were concerned that Greyson was going to have a difficult time with the heat, sand and sun. Praise God, he surprised us and did a great job and seemed to love everything. He really started to enjoying being in water. Each evening at our hotel we would go swimming, teaching him how to kick his legs and go under. He loved it and always got quite upset when we had to leave.
One day we were able to go to El Yunque National Park. It was of course rainy, but there is a great difference between cold and warm rain. We took about an hour and a half hike which lead us to some beautiful waterfalls. Stephen enjoyed jumping into the bigger ones and Greyson had a great time in the little ones.
