A great perk about being back in Nebraska is having the opportunity to get together with family more frequently. For the past 7 years Stephen and I would be lucky to see our families 5 days out of the year. Even more I would only get to spend 2 days with my sister (not enough!). My dad celebrated his 58th birthday (I can get away with saying his age, because he looks way younger:) giving us a great chance to get together. Greyson loves his cousins and gets extremely excited every time they come around. Because the weather was so hot we all had a great time on the slip and slide, running through the sprinklers and playing in the little pool. There are also gobs of toads at my parents farm and all the kids had fun capturing them. Of course Great Grandpa and Grandma were there as well and I think they get younger every time they are around their great grandchildren.
Our goal is to never take advantage of our incredible family, the love we have and the bond of Jesus Christ that keeps us all together.
