Old San Juan Puerto Rico

One morning we headed out on the bus for Old San Juan. We knew that with Greyson it wouldn't be an all day trip, so we did our best to fill as much into a short time as possible. Old San Juan is really incredible and we took some time to walk through an old fort. Old San Juan was founded back in the early 1500s and heavily protected by turrets and walls from British invasion. We walked through hidden tunnels and even into a cell hidden in the hidden tunnel. There were still old drawings in
the stone wall from prisoners. We were amazed at the detail in their drawings and the types of boats they drew (not the type of boats we think of).
While it was hot we had a great time exploring and even meeting some of the now residents of the fort, the lizards!
